Portland Kinderschule offers a play-based German immersion program for children ages 3–5. Our small class size of 12 children allows each child to receive individual attention while building lasting friendships.

Co-op Life

A school we

As a cooperative preschool, our families are the backbone of the school. Every family takes on a role — from board positions to classroom helper days — and in return gains a close-knit community and a deeper connection to their child's education.

• Child must be years old by the first day of school
• Child must be independently toilet trained
• Families commit to a co-op participation role
• One parent volunteers as classroom helper on a rotating basis
